Garth and Roy: Shared Pain
Garth sighed and rubbed at his ribs. They felt cracked, but he knew they weren't.
He knocked on Roy's apartment door. Something had gone wrong, and he'd need to find a way to fix it. Each of them already were used to certain amounts of bruises, cracked bones, and other bodily damages. But stacking both of their pain on top of each other... this would need to get fixed, and soon.

Ever since their fight with-- whatever magic thing they'd gone up against last, Roy really couldn't be bothered to remember them all-- he'd been feeling all manner of aches and pains that he didn't remember getting. Mystery bruises were kind of a part of the job, but this felt-- different. It was definitely very strange.
For example, there was this itching on the back of his leg, like a bandage that needed changing, only he didn't have any bandages there. He didn't even have a scratch there.

"Did you get... punched in the ribs last night? Like, two or three times? Leading to a bruised or cracked rib?"
He glanced around the apartment, checking to see if anyone else was around.

The question made him frown. "Well, I wasn't punched specifically, more like thrown into a brick wall, and I haven't gotten it checked or anything, but it definitely feels like a cracked rib. Nothing I can't handle on my own."
